Training
HSBC has a Training Centre based in Amman staffed by training professionals. All new entrants will attend an induction course which provides them with essential information about HSBC, its history, values, products and services. We offer resident Manager and Staff Officer trainee programmes. Candidates selected as Customer Services Representatives will be given specialised Customer Services accreditation training. Should suitable training courses not be available locally, staff may be required to attend training in HSBC’s Regional Training Centre in Dubai, or the Group Training Centre in the UK.

HSBC’s remuneration packages in Jordan are designed to stimulate significant contribution to the success of HSBC in Jordan, and to reward personal achievement. An enhanced compensation programme is now in place which ensures that HSBC is offering competitive salaries and allowances compared to similar organisations in Jordan, through annual independent salary surveys. The programme also allows staff to be rewarded in proportion to the level of their success.

1 Medical Scheme Male and female employees and their spouses and children under 18 years of age, who do not enjoy any other medical schemes, will be covered 100% by the Bank’s Medical Scheme .
2 Life and Accident Insurance Policy Employees are covered under the Group Life and Accident Insurance Policy .
3 Staff Provident Fund Scheme The above scheme is voluntary. Employees contribution is 4% and the Bank’s Contribution is 8% and 8% interest on the Fund .
4 Social Security All employees will be covered by the Jordan Social Security Law.
5 The Bank has very attractive Staff Housing and Personal Loans, and Credit Card Policies.
6 Annual Leave/Sick Leave/Maternity in accordance with Jordan Labour Law .
